Agriculture is an important industry to the economies of Broome, Tioga and Chenango counties. Below is a snapshot of the agricultural commodities going strong in Broome County, the capital improvements they are making to their operations and their estimated gross sales which are placed back into the local economy. It is said that each farm supports 5-8 outside operations.
